How we earn revenue

What this means for our content

Affiliate commissions fund the operation of RegionFree.com, including hosting, testing, and content creation. However:

• We do not accept payment for reviews. All reviews are based on independent testing.
• Commission rates do not influence ratings. A VPN with a higher commission does not receive a higher score.
• We recommend products we genuinely believe are good. If a product is poor, we either say so honestly or don’t cover it at all.
• We test everything ourselves. We do not publish reviews based on press releases, spec sheets, or manufacturer claims alone.
